Hello, I am Gabrielle a honor roll student who resides in Bowie, MD. As a high school student, I have grown to have a love for math and the process of learning it. Math is not something that came easy to me at all but with time and practice it's possible. I have just recently started tutoring young children ages 10 and under assistaning them with homework and any math struggles they may have.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First, I always ask the guardian, "what is this student struggling with." On our first session we will start to tackle the "why" question that we miss many times when doing math. Why aren't you able to do this problem. Are you forgetting steps, doing the adding/subtracting/multiplying/ dividing wrong, and etc. Once we work that out and get some practice problem everything else will be smooth.
