Every student is unique. I ask my students what they know works best for them and areas they want to work on. We work together to use their strengths to help them understand key concepts. Explaining things in a simple and straightforward method helps students grasp the methodology.
I loving seeing my students become comfortable with math through quality teaching. I tutor to pass it forward and help others.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Every student has a different learning style. I work with new students to identify how they learn best and adopt that style in teaching them math concepts.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a professional tutor with more than 5 years of experience. I served as an SAT and ACT tutor at Huntington. I also served as a National Honors Society and AVID tutor. I have a Master’s degree from Johns Hopkins and served as a Teaching Assistant and a tutor for an after school program.
How did you get started teaching?
Having great teachers inspired me to use my knowledge to also provide quality education to others.
