The initial orientation visit went well. However the first tutor did not meet the requirements we discussed at the initial visit of Mon/Wed 3:30-5 pm at the Library across the street from QOHS. She didnt show up on the 2nd scheduled visit but this is because the company apparently didnt communicate our needs well. She took too much time to prepare before she could provide guidance during her sessions. She also wouldnt instruct from the math packet which is designed for test preps...either that or their was a consistent breakdown in communication b/w she and my niece. BTW- I actually had to hire another tutor in the interim in order to cover the missed appointment two weeks ago. The tutor was very professional and pleasant, but I would appreciate a tutor that can hit the deck running with their knowledge on the subject, has loads of energy and passion for the subject and I hope the one this week is able to do that. Please be advised that my primary phone is stolen so comms will need to by by email in the interim.
