Hello! I have been teaching in the public school system for the last 20 years. I can teach all main academic subjects from kindergarten through 8th grade, as well as computer science. I can't wait to help your student improve their understanding!!
I love helping students understand concepts that are difficult. I look forward to seeing students' eyes light up when they finally understand. I enjoy seeing their confidence build as they finally understand something that had previously been confusing.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When I acquire a new student, I first spend time with the parents/guardians trying to understand their reasoning for wanting tutoring for their student. Then I spend time working with the student to determine what skills they already have, as well as where they feel they are having difficulty. From there, I will build their academic program.
