Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I prefer students get ready for the session before I arrive and give me a full attention. They can ask anything related to homework or from the textbook. I do not do their homework for them but if they have questions, I will be happy to do it with them, then they can try similar questions themselves. No texting or distraction from social media. Can receive phone calls or make phone calls if necessary.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have bachelor's degree in Chemistry and mathematics. GPA-3.76.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I do not have standard pricing.
How did you get started teaching?
I started it when I was in college by helping my classmates.
What types of students have you worked with?
Mostly college students.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
A student of mine told me that she felt more comfortable going to class after knowing more about the topic and felt good about finishing her homeworks before the deadline.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Be respectful. Respect goes a long way. Hire someone that's trying to make you feel better about yourself, not trying to look down on you.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Ask more about the person and try to get to know them, that way you feel more comfortable around them and allow them to get to know you too.
