I am a seasoned ESL teacher, having taught teens and adults for over 10 years. I hold a MA in Adult Education. English can be an intimidating language to learn and I like to make it an easy and fun learning experience.

I have been teaching for 25 years. I have experience tutoring students from Kindergarten through middle school. I enjoy helping students build their confidence and build on their strengths.

My experience includes teaching in the Worcester Public Schools for over 27 years. I’ve taught special education, primary grades , and English as a second language . Currently I’m retired and subbing in the Auburn Public Schools and tutoring. My passions is to see a child smile and build upon their self confidence through motivation and positive reinforcement to help them achieve their academic needs . My B.S Degree is a Elementary Education with a M.A Degree in Moderate Special Education.

I teach English, Writing, Music (instrumental and vocal), Theater, Art, and History grades 1 through 12. I was a certified English, History and Fine Arts teacher in Massachusetts for over 30 years teaching in public school, private school for behavior challenged students and Performing Arts Schools. I have tutored students individually and in small groups as well as working with home schooled children in the creative arts.

I work with young students on reading, writing, and math skills in a way that feels supportive and stress-free. I’ve worked closely with kids in both daycare and special education settings, so I’m used to meeting each child where they’re at and helping them grow at their own pace.
