About
I have taught high school math for over 20 years, including AP calculus for 10 years. I strive to make all math understandable to all students.
I love when students get it, and then feel empowered by the success they have earned through hard work.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I have not tutored in a few years, but certainly help my own students often. I would say if the first sessions is not satisfactory, I will not charge. However, if it is satisfactory, I will expect payment and we will continue to work together as needed.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
BS Chemical Engineering - umass Lowell,
M. Ed. Worcester State,
Master’s in Math Education WPI,
certified to teach high school math and chemistry in Massachusetts
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with high school and community college students for the past 20+ years.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
You need the teacher’s explanations and tips to make sense to you, to grow your knowledge. You want to understand concepts and see the big picture to make connections, so that what you learn, lasts, beyond the test.
