I have several years experience working with middle school and high school students with math and physical science (earth science, physics, and chemistry). I've had the most success working one on one on a weekly or every-other week with homework and extra problems to make sure the student stays on top of the concepts and builds confidence in his or her abilities. I have a bachelors degree in English literature from the College of the Holy Cross along with a concentration in creative writing. There have been many things that I have learned throughout my collegiate experience and after that I would really love to get to share with younger people, particularly as it pertains to the small, yet very important nuances of writing. I am also able to teach lower level math like algebra, though I wouldn't come to me about calculus and trigonometry.
