Elementary School Tutoring
About
Hi! My name is Nicole, and I am a soon-to-be freshman at a top private school in MA. I have helped out my younger sibling, as well as numerous other kids with homework and other school-related assignments, and would love to help your child improve! I scored in the 99th percentile on the SSAT with a perfect score on the reading comprehension section, am currently taking Algebra 2 and Geometry outside of school, have been doing Model UN for 3 years, sing and play various instruments, am good with children, and can work with whatever time frame/schedule works for you. I am mainly looking to tutor elementary aged children as well as younger middle schoolers.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I discuss with the student and the parent separately about which areas they feel can be improved. The first few sessions are treated as a trial run to better get to know each student's abilities and how they learn best, which then helps to adjust future sessions to maximize their improvement. Every child is different, meaning that there is no real "typical" process for how I work with a new student.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
While I do not have any formal training, I have worked with numerous children on assignments as well as regularly assisting my classmates as well as other students in the middle and high school with both class and homework.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Generally, I will work for $35 per session.
