About

I find that I am extremely personable with my students. I want them to feel comfortable working with me as I find that is when they are most successful. I think it is important to know what the goals are for your student and to tutor accordingly.

Watching children succeed has always been an enjoyment of mine. When they have been struggling with their math and something clicks - that realization is the greatest gift.

Katelyn has been tutoring my daughter in Math and it has been such a wonderful experience. Katelyn explains the topics in a way that is easy to understand and has helped my daughter build confidence and enjoy algebra. Her grades have significantly improved.
In terms of scheduling, Katelyn is very responsive, easy to communicate with, and a pleasure to work with.

Frequently asked questions

I have a Bachelors Degree in Mathematics with a concentration in Education from Assumption College.

I have a Master's Degree in Education from Lesley University.

I hold a MA teaching license and a NH teaching license.

I range any where from $50-$75 an hour.

I started tutoring after I became a teacher as a way to supplement my income.

All types. I have worked in several different school systems and each school has been unique in its own way.

Make sure they are comfortable with the person - if they are consistently uncomfortable, they may not see the success they were hoping for.

Are they giving their best effort?

Is their struggle something the teacher could help with?
