Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
You may expect me to evaluate where the student is at; which concepts they feel comforfable with, which concepts they aren't so comfortable with.
After an evaluation, I would break down the concepts one by one over the course of however long I will be tutoring them, ensuring not to overload them with information, but also making sure they are actively learning instead of simply memorizing information.
I promote students enjoying and desiring to tackle challenges versus feeling doubtful, defeated, and wanting to give up on presented challenges.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
-High school diploma from SABIS International Charter School
-I have tutored classmates as well as 4th grade students
-I have a 6 year old sister who I have worked with from time to time
-I have experience with Autistic children
-I am learning American Sign Languge
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

I want you to feel the price paid lines up with my services.
What types of students have you worked with?
Elementary, middle school, and Autistic children
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I am not a fan of hiring teachers who don't truly care about the material or student they are teaching. Look for teachers who are patient and truly knowledgable, not just in the subject that is being taught, but in real-world subjects that will prepare you for the future.
