At Mrs. Allain in Marlboro, MA, I specialize in personalized tutoring services that cater to the unique needs of each student. With a focus on special needs education, reading, writing, and literature, I am dedicated to helping students enhance their skills.

With 20+ years of tutoring kids in Math and helping them build a strong foundation, a clear understanding of various math related problems, I have always strived to make the subject interesting and fun. My focus is aimed at developing a liking for the subject and helping kids perform better. Since I was in college, I used to help kids who had challenges in Math, Languages and other subjects and would help them understand the subject and coach them get better grades.

I teach English, Writing, Music (instrumental and vocal), Theater, Art, and History grades 1 through 12. I was a certified English, History and Fine Arts teacher in Massachusetts for over 30 years teaching in public school, private school for behavior challenged students and Performing Arts Schools. I have tutored students individually and in small groups as well as working with home schooled children in the creative arts.

I’m a passionate teacher who loves working with kids of all ages. I have experience teaching in many different settings, and can change methods quickly to fit a student’s needs. I offer personalized tutoring for students looking to bolster their English skills.
