I am a seasoned ESL teacher, having taught teens and adults for over 10 years. I hold a MA in Adult Education. English can be an intimidating language to learn and I like to make it an easy and fun learning experience.

Kimberly is a certified Early Childhood and Special Educator with over 25 years’ experience teaching students in preschool through middle school. As a special educator/case manager she provided reading and writing services using a variety of programs. She is a certified Orton-Gillingham Teacher and a Structured Literacy Dyslexia Interventionist and has experience providing 1:1 reading and writing services to students diagnosed with dyslexia and dysgraphia in local elementary schools.

A graduate of the Master of Professional Writing program at USC, I taught freshman composition at the university for two years while earning my degree. Prior to graduate school, I worked for two years as an associate editor for a Boston-based educational publishing company, where I wrote and edited a series of storybooks for struggling readers in grades K-2. During this time, I also served as a tutor with the professional tutoring organization, StudySmart, where one of my roles involved helping students draft and edit their college application essays. I was certified in Special Education (K-12) and Elementary Education (K-6).
