## About

I am a retired engineer who loves to help my students master essential math skills and enjoy the beauty of mathematics. Almost all of my students only need half an hour per week to keep up with their grade levels and even beyond. I can also help my students overcome math anxiety and recover from math PTSD.

I love to see the joy when my students understand key math concepts and find their beauty in the natural world God has created. My goal is to help them learn on their own.

## Frequently asked questions

### What is your typical process for working with a new student?

I will do an assessment to see where the student is at and then design a plan to get him or her to where they need to be. Typically, it only takes 3 to 5 sessions for a student to gain the confidence and ability to study on their own.

### What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have a Ph.D. in Electrical engineering which requires a lot of math. I have also worked in the hi-tech industry for 16 years where I used my math skills every day. Moreover, I have taught high school math in the past 7 years.
