About
I am passionate about teaching and when a student makes progress, it gives me great joy. English is such a beautiful language and one of the most difficult language if used correctly. I love conversing with my students in correct English and challenging them to think correctly.
I believe that teaching and creating critical thinkers is my greatest achievement. I get students to question and not just accept anything at face value. I create a curiosity to think and justify the answers that they provide to me. Critical Thinking is the new buzz in the world. We are developing more Einsteins now that before. I encourage students to THINK....THINK....THINK

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I always give a free 30 minute Discovery lesson. This is and introductory leason to ascertain if we are a good fit. The student also has to feel comfortable working with me. Iwould introduce myself and get to know my student. His/her passions/interests/hobbies. What are his/her likes and dislikes at school. A bit of background information will be obtained such as how many people are living at home? this would also give me an idea of the lesson progression. I would also inquire what would the student want to achieve in extra lessons. Because English is my forte, I would be able to ascertain the student's level of English and hence this would enable me to obtain a starting point.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a native English trained and qualified teacher. I have been teaching English for over 25 years. I have taught in many countries, whereby English is a second language. I also have just completed a course on home schooling to enhance my online teaching career.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
$20-$25. This amount varies as to the level of the student's English knowledge. I warrant this fee because I go over and above in my teaching. I develop the student to think critically as well, which in turn develops him/her holistcally.
How did you get started teaching?
I trained to be a teacher, straight after school and progressed thereafter in the Education arena.
