Darrick

I have a BFA in studio art, an MFA in art and design, and a MS in Elementary Education. I have taught public school and was a reading specialist. I enjoy teaching through creativity and developing curriculum for individual students. I have a strong background in adventure, science, ecology, systems dynamics, word work, spelling, and liberal arts education. My daughter is the top of her class, while my son is a grade level behind in Math and English, so I understand how students can perform differently when compared to others, but true education is about scaffolding the student to grow into an independent learner with a growth mindset. I think project-based learning is fabulous.
