What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to work on note taking skills becasue that will help them with all classes. I then like to re-teach the lesson before we go over any homework lessons. I also like to use technology and I have numerous lessons in Doceri that the student has access to.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelors from Franklin College in math and a masters with 18 credit hours in math. I have attented numerous workshops throughout my 33 years and have also spent a lot of time working with students with an IEP and students who just struggle in math.
