About
Hello Everyone! My name is Robert, and I love math. I know what you're thinking: "He's crazy", but it's true! And I want to spread the love by teaching my students how to "dance with numbers", so to speak. I have over 5 years of experience teaching & tutoring a wide range of math derivatives such as Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Statistics & Calculus. I am certain that I can meet the needs of my students!
My mind is a little weird. I see patterns in numbers where others may just see numbers. I am not only eager to teach math, but I am also eager to learn more. I love a good math challenge, and even if I get it wrong, I'm willing to spend the time and energy to get it right and understand how I reached that conclusion. The "Logic & Numbers Dance" is a peak I'm willing and eager to challenge!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I usually like to begin the session immediately after introductions. If possible, I prefer to receive information and/or samples of the subject matter before the first session so I can properly prepare an organized lesson plan. I will look up or make up questions relating to the subject and answer any questions with proper (some would say too much) detail.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been teaching at Mathnasium, a math-centric educational facility, for over a year. The range of teaching experience I have received from this company spans from Kindergarten to Senior Year High School. I had also been tutoring students in various different subjects beforehand; some of said students even consisted of classmates at the time. The total amount of time I've spent doing this is well over 5 years.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Since times are very tough right now, I have set my standard rate at $30 per hour session. I also have a couple of special offers: $40 for 90 minute sessions & $50 for 2 hour sessions.
How did you get started teaching?
In my Junior year of High School (2013-2014), I assisted my former teacher's Algebra II class with grading and teaching. At the time, I was having a hard time finding a proper job, so I figured that I could earn a little extra money by tutoring my fellow classmates in math. The rest is history.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with many people form Kindergarten to Senior Year High School. I've even helped a few college students with College-Level Algebra and Trigonometry.
