Personal Tutoring Services
About
I graduated from Indiana University in Bloomington this past May 2022. I am recently TEFL certified and willing to help with English, Science and Elementary Math. We will talk about personal goals and what the student expects from tutoring sessions. I can give advice on studying habits and schedules, aid with assignments/class quiz or test preparations and even plan lessons if necessary!
I am passionate about helping others and love teaching/mentoring students! I especially enjoy working with children, but I am open to tutoring high schoolers and adults as well. I will work to help students overcome their learning hurdles and accomplis their goals.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I will arrange an interview with the parent, student or both for introductions and a needs analysis of the student. We will determine what specifically needs work and figure out a scheule that works best for everyone. I can even offer a shorter, free trial lesson to see if I am able to help the student and ensure that I am the type of tutor the student wants to work with.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated with a Neuroscience B.S. from IUB in May 2022.
I worked as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant in the Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences for one year. I was also an Anatomy Lab UTA during my last semester before graduation.
I recently completed my TEFL certification (120-hour online course).
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Prices can be negotiated with the family/student. I am looking for jobs around $20 an hour, which can be paid in cash if the sessions are conducted in-person or Venmo/CashApp for online sessions.
