What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First addressing the student's biggest concerns and struggles with writing to date. Then, I move on to unpacking their current assignment by breaking it into manageable tasks. After this, any writing task can seem more achievable and work can get done in a productive, successful manner.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I worked as a Writing Consultant at The How Center for Writing Excellence for 4 years during my undergrad studies at Miami University of Ohio.
