My name is Miss Shan, and I’m passionate about helping students become stronger readers, writers, and critical thinkers. I am a Senior in High School this Fall at Fenwick High School in Oak Park. I've been on the high honor roll for the past three years, in multiple extracurriculars, and tutor fellow students at Fenwick during the school year. I want to provide a solid foundational understanding of concepts to prepare students for the upcoming year, or solidfy and expand their knowledge of ideas covered in their previous classes.

As someone who is not naturally good at math, I understand that all students learn math differently! The good thing is, there are so many different ways to look at each mathematical concept, and I am determined to do my best to help students! Students may bring in specific assignments that they need help understanding and/or completing. I can also help students grasp more general mathematic topics, with no specific impending tasks necessary. I hope to work with mostly elementary, middle, and early high school math students.
