Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I ask for specific doubts, explain the context of the doubt to ensure the student understands profoundly the difficulty. Then, I explain the theory needed for solving the problem and apply it.
When the interaction is in a normal class, first I explain the background of the subject of study, or give a brief reminder of the previous material. Then I start with the topic of study and I remark definitions, theorems, laws, important information, and specify the connection between them, via mathematical formalism. At important moments (for example, at the end of the class), I give a quick review of the checked material.
