Tatum STEM Tutoring
About
Iʻm about to graduate from UH Manoa with a bachelorʻs in Civil Engineering.
As an engineer, I like to come up with strategies to accomplish problems and math problems. Itʻs ironic because math problems are always given one solution, but can be solved in various ways.
I want my students to love math (or at least enjoy it).
I found my passion for teaching math through my nieces. Every weekend, they would bring their homework and I would find innovative ways to teach them math problems that they didnʻt understand.
With my past experiences of tutoring with a local business, I prepared pre-K students for kindergarten admission. We focused on improving their reading comprehension, phonics, mathematics, writing, and gross motor skills.
I also instructed elementary and middle school students on subjects in writing, reading, and math for those seeking to catch up, stay on track, or get ahead.
