I am a recently graduated college student who just earned their associates in liberal arts and is continuing to pursue a bachelors in dietetics. I am an educator with three years of teaching experience in Honolulu as a 3rd-grade special education teacher. I hold certifications in Special Education (PreK–12) and General Education (K–6). I received my Masters of Arts degree in elementary education from the university of Phoenix. I’m a second grade teacher at Aikahi Elementary. This is my 18 year teaching at Aikahi. I love working with kids and have taught 1st-6th graders. I am able to tutor in math and language arts and would prefer k-3rd graders. I am very positive and believe that sometimes getting extra help will instill the extra confidence in a child that is needed to be successful in school.
