About
I graduated from Punahou School and currently, substitute teach and coach tennis at Punahou. I work well with grades 1 - 8 in multiple subjects but stronger in Math. For tennis, I am a USPTA Teaching Professional. Lastly, I love to go golf, fish, and surf in my free time. I've been fishing and surfing since I was around 6 years old.
I really enjoy helping and working with students. Seeing the students achieve their goals and getting a better understanding of their work is my overall goal.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When I work with a new student, I briefly introduce myself and try to find common things between us. By creating a relationship, I feel I can support and help the student more efficiently. Also, I always listen to the student and figure out what they need help with and come up with a plan.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from Punahou School and got a BS in Kinesiology from the University of Hawaii and an AS in Exercise Science from KCC. I currently substitute at Punahou School and working with the students is one of my strengths.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
$50 / session
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students from Kindergarten to 8th grade.
Tennis, I have worked with Kindergarten to top national players
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
I believe students should have multiple questions for the teacher. Letting the teacher know exactly what you would like to achieve or understand will help both the student and the teacher.
