I am a passionate, enthusiastic new professional in the English field and it shows in the quality of my work. I have been helping others with their writing and comprehension goals for several years and I love every second of it.
I love everything English and always have. I love the interpretive nature of literature, the power of words and writing. I love the recognition that lights up a student's face when they make the connection or understand what's happening in the text and I love when all our hard work comes together in a paper. English has and always will be my passion and I am eager to pass that to my students.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Initially meet and assess the needs, concerns and goals of the student. We then decide how often we need to meet to reach the desired goal and work forward from there.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have spent the last 4 years teaching in some capacity. I was in charge of an editing forum while I obtained my undergraduate degree where we worked on both fiction and non-fiction writing (academic as well). I worked as a substitute teacher post-Bachelors degree and am now working as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in the literature department at Georgia Southern University. I have a knack for writing and analysis, and a passion for the work. Long term, I plan to attain my Georgia teaching license and work as an adjunct professor or high school English teacher.
