I offer a variety of services, tutoring grades one through twelve in the following: English, Language Arts, History, Social Sciences, Spanish, Bible, Reading Comprehension, Bible/World Religion. I also specialize in assisting with college essays/applications and with standardized test preparation: SSAT, PSAT, SAT and ACT. I also work with students currently enrolled in college courses, and I currently work with four ESL students.
Further, I work with post-grad students and older individuals completing degrees later in life. My passion and calling is that of a teacher, and I absolutely love what I do!

I absolutely LOVE what I do! The oldest of three, I have essentially been teaching since I was a little girl. I have always loved school and excelled as a student in elementary school, while at The Westminster Schools from grades six through twelve, where I received academic awards and was a strong scholar, and where in high school was a class president and cross country captain. After high school, I attended and graduated from the University of Notre Dame, where I graduated with Honors in English and also received a minor in Spanish.
Upon graduation, I immediately was offered a teaching position at my alma mater, The Westminster Schools, where I taught 7th Grade English and 8th Grade Writing Workshop in the Junior High School. I served on the Admissions Committe and Aluni Board, was a member of the Department Vertical Team studying gaps and overlaps in the curriculum, held the position of Grade Level Coordinator for the seventh grade teachers, advised the Junior High literary magazine and also the Creative Writing and Poetry Club. I also coached both cross-country and track & field for the Junior High.
After six years at Westminster, I accepted a position at Holy Innocents' Episcopal School, where I taught seventh grade English, coached both cross-county and track and field for the middle school, and spearheaded two schoolwide volunteer campaigns for the "Light the Night" Walk and the "Walk to Cure Diabetes".
Following my time at HIES, I enrolled at Emory to attend paralegal school, as I come from a family of attorneys and there has always been "pressure" of sorts for me to attend law school. My bargain was that I would become a paralegal to determine if I truly liked the law enough, for law school tuition is certain steep, and I have many friends, especially teachers, who have taken it and have not been happy in the end.
Needless to say, I obtained my paralegal certification from Emory and have held several corporate jobs at some of the most prestigious law firms, including my father's. That said, I have NEVER given up tutoring on the side, so when the last business at which I worked was sold, I knew that it was time--that in a way the stars had finally aligned and I needed to start my own full-time tutoring enterprise! I must say that I have never been happier! :)
