I have been a math tutor for eleven years, and I love it! I love math, and I get great satisfaction from sharing that love. I have a BS in computer engineering and am a certified math teacher in two states. I have a great talent for diagnosing gaps in understanding and I know how to fill them.
From a young age I would lie awake at night thinking about the math that I was learning in school, deconstructing the algorithms that my teachers were teaching me. As a result I have a very deep understanding and good number sense and I am able to explain concepts in a way that makes sense to your brain! Everyone is a

I am a nontraditional student with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology specializing in neuroscience/cognition. Education has been a lifelong journey for me, and over the years, I have been able to develop different study methods that have not only helped me but also others in succeeding academically. I know that the key to helping someone succeed academically is to have great patience. I was that student who took a while to really grasp a concept, so as a tutor, I know how to approach a topic simply so that the student can understand the concept easily.

Hi!!
I am currently a HS math teacher and college adjunct instructor in math. I love tutoring because it lets me work one on one with my students.
I usually meet my students at the Panera Bread on Windward Parkway, but I am willing to adapt as needed I also offer an online tutoring option. We would have a regularly scheduled day and time to work. Also, my students are able to get Just in Time help. If they are struggling with a problem or 2, they can text me a picture of the problem and I will work with them to figure it out. (I don’t charge extra for this-I do it because I love working with my students)

Hi everyone! My name is Ronnie Li, and I'm a current PhD Student in Neuroscience at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. I have been teaching and tutoring since I was a sophomore in high school, and I've loved every moment of it. I love getting to know my students on a personal level, so that way I can break down the material in ways that are tailored towards their interests and hobbies. I am also very creative; I often give unconventional homework assignments to my students such as writing a song about a topic in biology, but I have always found that doing so helps them retain the information better.

I took AB first before immediately jumping to BC because I felt I didn’t have a solid foundation on the subject. I took a year between Calculus Honors and BC Calculus to take AB to really master the subject. I know the AP exam like the back of my hand and have learned from the best teachers how to truly understand calculus and how to pass the exam with flying colors. I also t
