About
I am a first-year at Georgia Tech and am experienced in tutoring math from elementary mathematics up to AP Calculus. As a former IB graduate, I specialize in Algebra and Accelerated Algebra and regularly tutor algebra through my chapter's Math Honors Society. I am also available for ELA, science, and social studies up to the middle school level. Having been a part of the IB program and having taken IB HL Math has opened up a realm of math skills that enables me to offer strategies for improving speed and confidence in math for myself in university and for my students.
I was a part of my school's chapter of Mu Alpha Theta where I am experienced in tutoring high school math. It is truly rewarding to see the happiness and confidence young students exude when mastering a new skill or after understanding a topic that was previously challenging.

Frequently asked questions
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As an IB alumni, I have been exposed to college-level math in calculus and statistics through IB HL math for many years. I received IB credit for my IB HL math course which allowed me to enter Georgia Tech with Math 1555 and have a sophomore standing along with my other IB and AP credits. This has allowed me to have a strong foundation in introductory math and paired with my involvement in tutoring high schoolers, I am experienced in tutoring a wide range of skills in math.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
At the elementary level, I charge around $20 for math and $20-25 for other subjects. At the middle and high school level, depending on the student's math course and difficulty, I charge around $25 to $35. I am familiar with Cobb County's math system so I understand course levels and can offer insight to students and parents.
