I have been teaching math for over 30 years. I have taught at all levels including elementary, middle, high school and college. I have taught all classes up to and including AP Calculus, College Algebra, and Trigonometry. I teach step by step and have had always had possitive feedback from my students. I have certification in middle school, high school, gifted, and special education. I am able to work with students of all ages and at any level.
I enjoy working with students in math.. I have a full understanding at every level and it is rewarding when students come to me struggling and leave with confidence.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When I meet with a student the first time we will talk about issues they are having in math. If they are struggling in a class I suggest that they bring something with them that they need help with. I can evaluate students to see what level they are on and work with them to get on track if they are behind.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My undergraduate is in accounting from Shorter College. I have a Master's degree from Piedmont College and a specialist degree from The University of Alabama in Secondary Math Education. I have certification in middle school, high school math, gifted, and special education. I have worked with students at all levels and have been successful. I have taught classes in elementary and high school. I have also taught at the college leve. I have taught all levels from general math through AP Calculus and College Algebra and Trigonometry.
