Hi! I’m a recent high school graduate with two years of experience working as a teaching assistant at Kumon, where I primarily worked with Pre-K through 8th grade students. During that time, I helped students with subjects like math and reading. On my day to I answered questions, guided them through assignments, and encouraged them when they felt stuck or frustrated. Working with younger students taught me how important patience, consistency, and adaptability are when it comes to learning. It also taught me how to create a supportive and comfortable environment, where children can enjoy their learning and not feel like a chore.
