I have been a high school math teacher for over 30 years. I have been a private tutor for over 15 years. I love to work one-on-one with students helping them understand and possibly enjoying mathematics.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I usually meet with the student and talk with them to see if they feel like I am a good fit with them. If we continue, then I will give them a short pre-test to determine where they are and where they may have some gaps. I will then look at the curriculum of the course they will be in it are currently in. Then I design a path to help them be successful.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have taught high school math in two states and seven different t schools. I've taught all levels from basic math to advanced Calculus. I have tutored students for the past 15 years with great success.
