Rishav Sinha

Hello! My name is Rishav and I am a recent mechanical engineering graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology. I have had a passion for teaching since high school helping out classmates with school assignments. Starting as a volunteer tutor at my local coding camp, I quickly grew fond of building unique and personal lesson plans for my students ranging across 5-15. I have since expanded my education and have more experience as a teaching assistant helping my fellow classmates in higher level classes.

I particularly love mathematics as I have participated in competitions and programs that have exposed me to all kinds of instruction (good and bad). I also specialize in physics with my extensive engineering background. With more difficult problems, I always strive for logical reasoning to simplify problems.

My methods for each students aren't the same. What will be the same is how I try to cater teaching for YOU. I first ask each student to verbalize their thought process as descripively as possible. Each student will be able to find the best methods that work for them as we work together to ask the right questions in route to the solution. I rely heavily on analogies for real world problems that can help students visualize these problems in different ways (I am a visual learner myself).
