About
Dr. Christopher Mora has been tutoring high school and college students since 2011, and has worked as a teacher for middle school students, and taught courses to prepare those students for state mathematics examinations. Dr. Mora has an extensive background in science and mathematics, with a Bachelor's degree in Biology with minors in chemistry and psychology from the University of Miami, and an MD degree from Florida Atlantic University's Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine. Dr. Mora has experience and comfort in tutoring pre-algebra, Algebra, Calculus, and other subjects such as chemistry and biology. Dr. Mora focuses on worked examples of problems likely to be encountered on exams, focusing on breaking down problems and concepts in to the simplest building blocks to ensure understanding and success. He is patient, kind, and a good listener, and encourages questions and curiosity from his students.

How did you get started teaching?
Tutoring students in high school and college, later working as an educator for Broward County Public Schools breifly. I have always been passionate about teaching and education. Part of my job description as a physician is educating patients and families.
