Aahil Makhani

Hello! My name is Aahil, I have a BSBA in Supply Chain Management from Auburn University and am soon to begin my MBA at Emory University! I am an experienced tutor, tutoring informally throughout grade school and professionally during my undergraduate years, as part of the Study Partners program at Auburn.

Most of my tutoring experience is with high school and college-aged students but am very flexible. I prioritize student engagement and believe that a student can learn anything if it is delivered to them in a way that they can understand and relate to. I try to get to know students on a personal level and supplement my tutoring with personal anecdotes because trust is important in any relationship, but especially in a pedagogical setting.

Student success is a passion of mine, and I aim to further understanding of the subject material with my students, rather than just "teaching to the test." Anybody can memorize equations or facts and figures, my goal is to help students actually understand the material and the why behind anything I teach. This has led to many of my students succeeding academically, raising their grades in a class by two letter grades in just a semester.
