I enjoy making students feel good about their math studies. Helping to improve needed background skills for harder topics is my specialty.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I charge $30 / hour for up to 4 students. My fee for a 90 minute session is $45.
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Kentucky, while working on a Masters degree in Mathematics. I became a public school substitute teacher by taking the "Guest Teacher" training in Pennsylvania. Currently I am a substitute teacher for Ogelthorpe County, Madison County, and Georgia Cyber Academy.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have tutored and taught Arithmetic to Calculus. Most of my students come to me with poor Algebra skills. Some that are taking Algebra have weak Arithmetic skills.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find a tutor willing to watch you work through a problem, to see where you are making your mistakes.
