My name is Mrs. Hall and I am a High School and Middle Grades Math teacher. I’ve taught Math for 18 years now in various School systems (Public & Private). I take great pride in my ability to break down and explain Math concepts to students in the simplest and most logical manner possible for them to understand. I also take pride in my high test scores. I am currently a student at the University of Georgia, pursuing a Bachelor’s in Psychology with an interest in Educational Psychology. I have a total of 7 years in education, 4 as a special education paraprofessional and 3 as a substitute teacher. I have experience working with students to meet them where they are and building understanding through diversified explanations and teaching them how to break down work to manage it easier, in the process practicing skills to improve independent problem solving.

I am currently a full-time teacher in the elementary setting, but I have seven years of experience teaching middle school math as well. My undergraduate degree is in special education followed by a master’s degree in middle grades education. Over the summer I worked to develop a math curriculum for the county that I teach in, so I feel confident that I can help students master the standards that are required of them.

As a civil engineering student at the University of Georgia and a teacher’s assistant for Fluid Mechanics, I have strong knowledge of K-12 math courses, pre-calculus, and Calculus 1.
