About
I am a certified math teacher who has worked in Georgia Public Schools as a high school math teacher for four years and at a virtual private school for the past four years. I have been doing private tutoring for four years as well.
I use various tutoring methods to make sure that you are getting the type of instruction that works best for you. I also have experience working with students with dysgraphia.
I believe that mastering a difficult concept or solving a problem that at first seems outside of their comfort zone gives students the confidence they need to continue problem solving. I also like to make real world connections, because I believe the 'why' is just as important as the 'how'.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I offer a complementary consultation through phone or messenger to pinpoint the exact need of the student. I also like to determine what kind of learner (visual, kinisthetic, etc.) they are. This allows me to tailor the instruction to the individual learner.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Masters Degree and hold current Georgia Certification in Secondary Mathematics. I currently teach PreCalculus and Algebra 2. In past years, I have taught Algebra 1, Geometry, Analytic Geometry, Honors Accelerated Alg 1/Geometry, Probability and Statistics and AB Calculus.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
