What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Students usually take at lease one practice test prior to their first session and I ask that they write down their questions and what they had trouble with. Don't just keep the question in your head - take the time to physically write it down, it'll prime your brain to really get to the root of what you don't understand.
In the first session itself, we work through the practice test and address weak topics, then we work on goal setting and create a study plan for future sessions as well as the time in between sessions.
