MS. Student Tutoring K-6

Hello! I’m Mary. I have been an educator for 16 years. 10 years as an elementary school teacher and 6 years as a reading coach. I have taught all grade levels and subjects. I am passionate about learning, motivating and instilling strategies to help students achieve their fullest potential as they develop lifelong learning skills.

I encourage growth mindset learning. When students have a growth mindset, they take on challenges and learn from them therefore increasing their abilities and achievement.

I like to teach and provide students with strategies and tools that they can practice, apply and transfer as they build confidence in challenging tasks. I'm there to coach, guide, encourage and provide support based on students’ individual needs.

I have a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education K-6, ESOL and Reading Endorsement.

The best part of teaching is watching students when they experience success, confidence and overcome challenges. When they start believing in themselves.
