About
Ever since high school, I knew my purpose was to help others. Anyone can volunteer, but what made it different for me: I had a challenge and a story to tell with it, making me different from everyone else. My learning challenges as a student have made me a better teacher because now I can relate to YOU.
I was an instructor at Mathnasium for almost 2 years, ran a support group for teens with Epilepsy, created the most popular and active club in school, and achieved 1100+ community service hours in high school. Before coming to college, I taught math to kids in k-5th grade at Boys and Girls Club to help them get ready for the next school year.
I love working with kids and helping them reach their full potential. That includes academics and mentoring otherwise. Now that I know this is a passion of mine, other work isn’t as thrilling. I love that I can build relationships and make what I do my own and cater it to each individuals needs.
