About
I am a junior at the University of Georgia and went to an IB high school. I have a range of servies I can offer you or your child. I strive to help students understand what they are learning rather than just getting the answer. I have been a tutor at my high school and college (UGA) for the past couple of years. I graduated in the top 10 of my class and eanred awards in both math and english. I strive to accomate to my students and help them feel more confident in their learning.
The one thing I enjoy the most about tutoring is seeing my students suceed. The amount of time and effort they put into these sessions is truly reflected throughout their assessments. I also enjoy that look students give when they finally understand a subject.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I first would like to get to know my students and ask them what their preferred learning style is. That allows me to alter my teaching to best suite them. Before our session I ask that you give me a list of concepts you would like help on so I can review things before hand and have practice problems ready. Then I begin with the problems the student brings to me and slowly add harder problems to see if they understand the concepts.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My standard price is $15-20 an hour depedning on the diffculty of the material. However, I am willing to negotiate prices and the duration of the sessions. All of my sessions will be held online, via zoom or skype, due to COVID restrictions.
How did you get started teaching?
One of my highschool teachers offered me a tutoring position based on my skill set. I then took this oppertunity into my own hands and began tutoring children throughout my area. Throughout my freshman year of college I regularly began tutoring children and it has become a passion of mine since.
What types of students have you worked with?
I typically work with elemenary students and middle schoolers. However, I will work with upperclassman depnending on the subject.
