Jocelyn Moore-Hill Math Tutoring
About
I’m a certified K-6 teacher in Hillsborough County. I enjoy helping students learn and achieve their goals.
I believe all children can learn! What i enjoy most about teaching is seeng my students grasp a math standard that they were challenged by. Through discussiion and practice, experience their ”ah ha” moment and understanding is now evident.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I use coherent instruction whereby all my lessons follow "I DO, WE DO, YOU DO". Specifically, I model problems. My students and I do problems together, then i release students to work on their own.

I have an undergraduate degree in Ecomomics from the University of Maryland at College Park. In addition, I earned a graduate degree in Business Administration. I changed careers in 2013 and became an elementary school teacher. I currently hold a FL Professional Teaching Certificate, K-6.
