I'm an experienced math tutor who loves working with kids of all ages! I have worked as a math tutor at Mathnasium in McLean, Virginia for over a year, but I am now moving to the Tallahassee area to study Environmental Science and Education at Florida State to become a teacher in the future! I have experience tutoring ages 4-18 in math from beginning numerical fluency to differential calculus. Helping children learn something new and apply it is the most rewarding experience for me. I love to connect with kids and find out how to motivate them, what they like and don't like about math, and what they hope to accomplish through tutoring in order to best serve you.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I received thirty-five hours of training in math tutoring from Mathnasium that is applicable to teaching all disciplines of math and I am currently studying calculus at FSU.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I am flexible with pricing depending on the length of each lesson!
How did you get started teaching?
I have always known I wanted to be a teacher thanks to several influential teachers in my elementary, middle, and high schools.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with children who are totally uninterested in math and students who love math, either way I help them engage with the material and learn something new.
