What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First, I get to know my student. I find that when you know what your student's interests are, you can build a more engaging lesson.
Next, I try to find the student's learning style. Once we discover how that child learns, then we build the appropriate study habits to help them succeed.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked only with Elementary students. I typically work with 3rd-5th, however as a college student I have been exposed to ESOL students and K-2nd as well.
