I have been an educator for over 38 years and I love to help others learn and achieve their goals. Whatever the need may be I will provide professional, fun, organized work to motivate the student to learn. As an educator, the student must feel independent and confident to be able to learn and progress with the goals needed to achieve the learning necessary to excel. As a veteran educator, I use research and materials that have proven excellence and achieves in reading, grammar and math subjects. i am a semi-retired man. I was trained as a scientist and an engineer. i have many years of field experience. i've been on research cruises, lived and worked on remote islands in the Pacific and met Presidents. I worked in water resources, solar power, coastal sciences and climate change policy. i have taught high school students, community college students elementary school principals and upward bound. teaching is a fun way of helping. my approach is to ask questions and come up with odd examples which may be funny...im good at it.
