I found my passion for helping students that struggle with Reading and Math while working as an Interventionist several years ago.

Hello, my name is Nicholas. I am a math tutor mainly specializing in Pre-algebra and Algebra. I am currently studying at Florida International University for a degree in Computer Science, but despite this, I have plenty of experience in not only math concepts, but assisting others struggling with them. My method involves helping students with concepts that they're having trouble with, guiding them through the process and breaking down the necessary steps or clearly explaining to them what they be missing. I am open to feedback and am willing to help students excel and succeed in the areas that they wish to.

I am a current sophomore at the University of Miami aiming to assist students in ACT and SAT test prep. I specialize in the English section, but I can tutor in mathematics as well. I received a 35 on my ACT (36 grammar, 34 reading, 35 math, 34 science), and I want to help your child succeed on their standardized exams. I also graduated high school with an International Baccalaureate diploma!

This is my 32nd year in teaching. I have taught all grades and levels. I currently teach at a local college. My speciality is in math, chemistry, physics and statistics. I communicate the concept very well and students do great. I prepare the students for any standardized test such as SAT, ACT, GRE, CLEP, TEAS, ASVAB, GED, GK, FTCE, and Advanced Place (AP) Exam.
