When it comes to the SAT it is better to have a tutor who has recently gone through the process.
I am currently a sophomore at the University of Florida pursuing my Master in Finance. In high school, I was able to improve my SAT by over 200 points to achieve a 1540. In that process, I learned a lot about the exam and have been sharing those tips with students ever since.
Students prefer to be tutored by someone closer to their age. It is easier for me to relate to students and have them understand why the SAT is important.
Helping others out is very fulfilling. The older I become, the more I realize how much help it took for me to get where I am. Many have helped me I hope to help many that come after me
