What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Our process depends on the student and subject. If we are working on a standardized test prep, our tutors will evaluate the strengths and weaknesses in each subsection and arrange each session to enhance the weaker areas. If the student needs writing assistance, they can expect to begin with outline structure and mapping ideas prior to developing a draft. Students will also learn strategies to improve their time when writing an essay.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are a local tutoring program that has been servicing students for over 15 years. Our staff has college and graduate degrees in their respective coursework, including teaching certifications. Parents/students rely on our personalized approach to each session.
