About
At Patel Math Tutoring, I cater to all different types of students. If the way I am teaching the concepts does not work for you, let me know and I will try my very best to teach students in the way they feel comfortable. Also, I am a student myself, so I know and understand the struggles of being a student. Do not worry though! I have tutored countless students. I have tutored middle school students for the past three years and recently began tutoring a few high school students for the SAT exam. I have received multiple mathematics awards throughout my high school years, so I am confident that I will be able to teach your student the tips and tricks around different types of math problems. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me!
What I enjoy the most about being a tutor is that I am able to enrich a number of students' minds with the power of education. Personally, education has always played a huge role in my life, so I want to show other students how powerful the knowldge of educaiton really is. I want to make learning easy and fun for students; I do not want students to think of learning as a chore. I have always had a passion for mathematics and have been tutoring math students for a few years now. Overall, I love being a tutor because I have the chance to help and encourage students to preform at the best level possible.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
What I do first is that I schedule a consultation session to make sure I can fully understand the student and the level they are at. I ask specifics about the student's educational needs and if they have any concerns regarding the tutoring process. After I analyze the student, then we will continue with tutoring lessons after the student is set on having me as their tutor.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am graduating high school this year and will be attending the University of Florida this fall. Throughout my high school career, I have always been placed in the advanced math courses, with my transcript consisting of courses such as AP Calculus and AP Statics, to College Algebra and College Precalculus.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
For specifics on the pricing structure, please contact me. I am a very flexible person.
How did you get started teaching?
I began tutoring when I realized that there were some students around me who struggled understanding the math concepts the teachers taught at school. So, I decided to step up and help my fellow students leatn the concepts in what I call the "student language."
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with middle school students for the past four years on basic algebra and geometry concepts. This year, I broadened my age range to high schoolers in courses such as: Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, and SAT math.
